Steve Fowle

Steve is a founder member of Mersey Rose Recreationals and the vice chair of the club.

Steve first played cricket in 2013 in a charity match for a Civil Service side against Ashworth Hospital. He played for Rainhill in 2023, featuring in T20s against Lord Rockingham's XI and Ormskirk, and a softball match against Rainhill Women. As someone with a disability, Steve finds that softball allows him to play the game at the right level for his ability. He has become a regular in Mersey Rose's softball team and played in the wins over Bootle and Whitefield.

Steve received the award for the Most Improved Player in 2024.
